Who We Are

Lambador is a small hobby kennel situated in the heart of Guiguinto, Bulacan. It is owned and operated by Costes brothers, Dani and Mitch. We currently have three (3) labs acquired from top labrador retriever breeders. Ellen is our foundation choco bitch; Buzz is our hunky chunky yellow dog; and Royce is our big black boy.

History of Lambador

The love for labs started early 2002 when we acquired our first labrador "Missy", a black mixed-breed labrador puppy. Next we acquired a pure breed 6-month old yellow puppy named "Brandy". She was often called "Lambador" by our nephew, who was only over a year at that time and could not pronounce the word "labrador". That was where we got our kennel name, Lambador.

Dogs Who Shared Our Joy

Shaq SHAQ
After Missy and Brandy, we bought our first stud dog Shaq from our good friend, Mr Gerry Cruz of CoastCross Labradors. His sire is Ph Gr Ch Veyatie Driving Along "Chuck", the greatest sire (all breed) of all time in the Philippines. We were very happy to acquire such a huge yellow dog!

FRANKIE
Frankie was rehomed to us by another good friend, Chef Chris Bautista of Bavas Kennel. Frankie is the littermate of Phil Champ Eastbrook For Heavens Sake.

Morris ABBY and MORRIS
Abby is a boyish looking almost white bitch co-owned with Custer Dela Cruz of Zurcaled Labradors. She's a huge stocky bitch which makes her look like a stud dog. She came along with Morris, a black multi best-in-show winner dog. He is also sired by Chuck.

Artic ARTIC
Entrusted to us by Mr Bernie Concepcion of Angelfields, Artic is a tall black boy. He has a typey head with a very nice stop. He had eye problems during his stay at Lambador. Fortunately, Lawrence Ligot offered to take care of him, as well as his eye surgery.

The Pride and Joy of Lambador! Angus Jr is arguably one of the most influencial sire in the philippines. He was the most sought after stud during his prime. This was not because he has produced champion progenies but because he has sired litters which owners are proud and happy to have owned.

Angus Jr is now resting peacefully at the rainbow bridge with his creator.

ZORA
Zora is our pet black bitch. She is a pet because we never got to show her as we promised her breeder. She might have earned her champ title had we shown her.

LANA
Lana was once our foundation bitch acquired from Mr. Dinky Santos of Sunshadow Labradors. She is a typey yellow female sired by Chuck as well. She has produced two champions out of Sunshadow Hanging on a Star "Doglas". We bred her twice with Angus Jr and has produced the show-pointed Lambador's Argon. She now resides a the kennel of our good friend, Dean Mercado of Moonmist Kennel.

Our Goal

Coming back to the labrador circuit after being silent for over two years, our goal for now is to produce the first Champion titled Lambador. This we believe we can achieve with our acquisition of 3 top quality labradors.

We plan to breed our choco bitch Ellen to Royce. Hopefully we would be able to produce show quality pups from the two. We hope and pray that we would also be able to find good show homes to fulfill our goal.

Our Dream

Aside from producing a champion titled Lambador, we have always dreamt of having a kennel which our dogs will be able to call home. A cozy, cool and clean place for our labs.

Our plan is to convert our old house to a full kennel with runs(not cages) for each dog and a large playpen where our dogs can freely run and with an area for us and our visitors where we can sit back and relax while we watch our labradors do their stuff.
